Bimini Steakhouse has got to be one of my favorite steakhouses and places when i'm visiting Reno. The ambiance, service, food, everything about this place is so amazing. I love how everything here feels so classy but you can really choose to either dine dressed up or dressed casually. Since this restaurant is found in the casino, you'll see people dressed both ways. Starting off, as an appetizer we ordered the coconut shrimps which was mouth watering. The shrimp was cooked to perfection and was paired with a sweet caramelized sauce which I loved so much I used as a dipping sauce for my steak. For my main, I ordered the prime rib which was so flavorful, tender, and filling! I never can finish my steak but whenever I come here I always end up eating it down to the bone. Make sure to add some mushrooms on the side. They pair so well with the steak and comes with such a good portion for sharing. Lastly, we ordered some strawberry ice cream which was great. The presentation of each dish was awesome and the prices were reasonable. Overall, this place is a must when visiting Reno. The service here is great. Each time the waiter is very attentive and friendly throughout the experience!
I really like this place. The steak is always top quality. The staff is friendly and there's always a lot of people checking on you throughout your meal. Get a players card and you get 20% off every day. That's a great thing for a $300 to $400 meal. I got the surf and turf and the steak was phenomenal. The lobster was good. We were celebrating a birthday and they did a nice job of recognizing that and bringing over a complimentary dessert. I'm taking a star away because we were seated next to one of their giant screens. These screens rotate through different scenes of famous locations throughout the world. Although a cool idea, it's not great to be seated right next to that. Very distracting tbh. Way too bright. I'd refuse to sit there again.
I very seldom give a venue 5 stars on my first visit but this Bimini Steakhouse culinary experience was beyond measure. The decor and relaxing atmosphere set the mood for the delectable delights that were forthcoming. I was well aware that Bimimi was a steakhouse however I decided to order the Maine Lobster Crusted Chilean Seabass that sat on a bed of oregano Israeli couscous, with sautéed red bell pepper-caper and golden pepper coulis, since it was seasonal and paired perfectly with a German riesling. Before my main course, I had to order the Lobster Bisque which was absolutely divine. The only complaint is that they had already incorporated the Sherry into the bisque which I prefer to drizzle on separately. Sorry, I am a snob. Finally, I ordered a double espresso and a snifter of Drambuie, for digestive purposes.
We visited from Las Vegas and went to Bimini to celebrate my husband's birthday. Mike and Tony were our servers and they were amazing!! First thing the host gave my husband a birthday card and I think that was very kind, then they brought us some bread and butter that had a good flavor and texture. My husband ordered the pineapple margarita and I had the peach cosmopolitan that was delightful. So the birthday boy ordered tomahawk and Truffle Mac & Cheese as a side. The tomahawk was divine, so flavorful and soft, cooked just right. We had other steakhouses in Las Vegas and Brazil and Bimini so far is our favorite! To finalize they gave my husband a chocolate mousse cake on the house because of his birthday. Thank you so much to Mike, Tony and everybody else involved to make our experience so memorable.
Located. In Reno's Peppermill casino is Bimini's steakhouse. The atmosphere was charged with a tropical setting, perfect lighting, and happy couples. Our server Jeff was extremely polite and recommended perfect pairing of food and drink. We started with scallops, then added king crab legs with asparagus! We finished with pistachio gelato served on a chilled plate! The price was reasonable and the food was delicious.!
3/20/2024- Another grateful birthday celebration! Dh just turned the big "70".. (although he acts like a fifty year old.. kidding).. Oldest son made the special effort to celebrate with us.. As my dearest "mother figure".. commented that today cannot be given back".. and tomorrow is not guaranteed, I cherish each and every day with loved ones.. Appetizers- coconut shrimp- tasty and crisp- dipping sauce oddly tasting.. Crab mushrooms- great.. Short ribs- 5/5 by the birthday boy- Chilean sea bass- 3/5 by me - too many big pieces of sliced ginger- Bimini salad- decent.. Vegetable cottage pie-0/0- vegan son- No flavor, none of the vegetables were seasoned, honestly the dish did not make any sense- confusing dish- Service was attentive and the son did comment and wanted to let the chef know an honest opinion.. We did get a birthday special chocolate mousse on the house.. Hopefully, improvements can be made on the menu..
A lovely evening celebrating my birthday. Melissa and Oscar gave us top notch care. The host was also wonderful and we enjoyed our chat about Sonoma and wineries. Enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin coconut soup, diver scallops and lobster risotto, 8oz Australian Waygu filet mignon with a diver scallop, sautéed mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. We brought our own bottle of red. There was a standard $35 corkage fee. Dessert was complimentary for my celebration. It was a chocolate moose selection. We also ordered the cherry crumb cheese cake. Everything was delicious. I was a bit surprised about the level of noise. There was a large and happy group. I was hoping for a little more intimacy for the price. Guess it just wasn't our night for that but it's nice knowing everyone in the room was enjoying themselves. A very nice celebratory dinner.
